Projects

Kingsbury High School has lots of projects involving students from our partner primary schools. This page will focus on eLearning projects.

If you work in a primary school and would like to get involved or have ideas for projects please let us know.

Primary School Projects

Working with our Partner Primary Schools.

We enjoy close links with our partner primary schools. Primary school students work in our IT rooms on projects that would be difficult to undertake in their own schools.

Some projects involve our ICT teachers delivering specialist content or using resources that are not available in primary schools.

The project also benefits our sixth form students who get the experience of working as instructors.

Making Games!

Lots of people like playing computer games to relax, some games can be educational. But creating games is a different story...

It takes logical thinking as well as good computer skills to create a game. Year 6 students from Oliver Goldsmith created their own games in 3 sessions.

This project was on the theme of Robotics, students created their own game in Game Maker software and in the last session controlled a lego NXT robot.

Our sixth form students awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze awards for the best ones.
