Equal Pay for Women

Equal Pay for Women

Postby GW » Sun Mar 06, 2005 12:37 pm

The Women and Work Commission was set up by Tony Blair last year to combat sexism in the City. In particular, the Commission aims to reduce the gender pay gap. Which recommendation below, was given by the Commission in its interim report?

a) The government should 'name and shame' the worst firms

b) The government should introduce mandatory pay audits

c) The government should enforce a 'gender duty' to enhance women's opportunities

d) Women should drop the feminism.... and marry a man who makes more than she can spend!

a) This recommendation was made by Cherie Blair & not the Women & Work Commission.

Try again!

b) the mandatory audits???? don't know if that would do any good, but I think it's the right answer.
