I think that an opportunity should have been given to all years

Well, I am really glad that you are interested, and that you love science!
There is already a really good science club that runs in T, the 6th form wanted to run something for themselves in K.
The really good news is that it will be open to all of Y10-13 from September.
If you are really interested, watch out for the notices on the INTRANET next year.
