Two session course for parents covering Internet Safety. What should you look out for setting up an internet connection and helping your child stay safe online?
Session 1: Potential Dangers of the Internet. A realistic assessment of the dangers trying not to scare-monger or exaggerate the dangers.
Session 2: Key features of a safe connection. Things to look out for when using the internet. Includes a disc of free software you can use to keep you and your family safe online. Explains the terms we hear all the time but not fully understand: firewall, phising, spam, malware and adware.
