ECDL Information

The European Computer Driving Licence® (ECDL) is the internationally recognised qualification which enables people to demonstrate their competence in computer skills.

ECDL is designed specifically for those who wish to gain a benchmark qualification in computing to enable them to develop their IT skills and enhance their career prospects.
No prior knowledge of IT or computer skills is needed to study ECDL.
ECDL requires no previous knowledge of computers, gaining ECDL means you remove the stress and frustration of not being able to use your computer efficiently. It helps build a career and qualification path, which you can then take to higher levels if you wish It’s a flexible and fun way of learning.
This is no standard length for this course. It depends on your own knowledge/experience. Most of our students have completed within six months. The qualification has a shelf life of three years from the first test passed.

	Enlight is the online ECDL testing system you will use. When you enrol for the course you will be given an enlight account. The website provides diagnostic testing as well as the final, certified examinations
